Summary of Position: Storeroom Receiving Clerk performs a variety of functions related to products being received on a daily basis from incoming carriers. Storeroom Receiving Clerk will inspect incoming materials, count, verify shipments per packing list and notify proper individuals of discrepancies.

Requirements:

  1. Assist in unloading materials from supply trucks.
  2. Proficient computer skills and acute attention to detail.
  3. Verify all quality and quantity of product to match purchase orders and packing slips
  4. Accurately place materials and supplies into storeroom by stocking shelves and putting material away.
  5. Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
  6. Verify purchase order flow down requirements are included on shipment documents.
  7. Print bar code tags and traceability labels for incoming material, if applicable.
  8. Notify purchasing regarding issues, challenges, or errors on incoming material.
  9. Review computer printouts, pull parts for kits and complete required paperwork.
  10. Collaborate with Purchasing and Manufacturing on “Hot” material
  11. Post daily receipts in ERP system.
  12. Perform cycle counts and count accurately.
  13. Able to distinguish colors and read small print.
  14. Have excellent manual dexterity.
  15. Able to stand or sit for eight (8) or more hours per day.
  16. Able to lift and carry 25 pounds on a regular basis. Lift material and stock shelves.
  17. Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  18. Ability to work with arms at shoulder level for extended periods of time.
  19. Perform special assignments and other duties as required.

  3. Creates department efficiencies and brings ideas to senior management.
  4. Stay within budget guidelines.
